 In > eat & coffee

This new coffee shop down by the Canal opened last Saturday and it’s already a firm favourite. So owner Thomas Lehoux is part of the new coffee trend sweeping Paris: he’s proposing expresso and filtered café prepared with superior coffee supplied by grinder dudes Télescope – but as a point of difference from some of the other places, he’s paying equal attention to the food. The talented ladies from another don’t miss spot Le Bal Café are in the kitchen and bring their signature fresh, home-made, Brit vibe to the short menu, with for example a lunchtime formula (11€) that today featured broccoli soup, an egg and watercress sandwich & coconut macaroon. There’s also great salads, hot dogs, and a range of sweet baked goods to go with that coffee.
8am-6pm. Closed Mon.
10 rue de la Grange aux Belles, 10th. Facebook.
