The 6 finalists of the prestigious French fashion award have been announced: the Italian Francesco Scognamiglio, two Frenchies Alexandre Vauthier, Bouchra Jarrar, the Turk Hakaan Tildirim, the London knitwear designer Mark Fast and Canadian Calla Haynes. Presided over by Carine Roitfeld, the 2010 prize boasts a B I G name jury: Lanvin’s genius Alber Elbaz; fashion editor at the Daily Telegraph Hilary Alexander; Jean-Pierre Simon, Colette’s Sarah Lerfel, Paul Benyamine, Dazed & Confused editor Jefferson Hack, French fashion journalist Virginie Mouzat, curator at the Musée des Arts Déco Pamela Golbin, Vogue Japan’s fashion editor Gene Krell, Burberry’s former AD Humberto Leon and co-founder of the brand Christian Lacroix Jean-Jacques Picart. Their 220,000 euro, career changing choice will be announced on Mon 28 June…
