AROUND TOWN: Jours de fêtes at the Grand Palais

To celebrate the festive season, the Grand Palais is hosting an exceptional event for all the family. Visitors can enjoy traditional fairground attractions, including an old-fashioned carrousel and a ferris wheel, children’s games and a unique exhibition of ‘Treasures from the Museum of Fairground Arts’, all beautifully lit under the domed roof of the Grand Palais. In addition, celebrating the centenary of the birth of renowned jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, some of the biggest names from the gypsy jazz scene will partipate in the event, including Thomas Dutronc from 8.30pm on Sun 20 Dec.
