ART: MUSIQUE PLASTIQUE at galérie du jour agnès b.

 In Events

After Jeunes Gens Modernes, a new group show at the Galerie du Jour explores the relationship between the visual arts and music. Why choose between Elvis and Duchamp, Botticelli or Sonic Youth, Kraftwerk or Warhol, Matthew Barney or Debussy? Some artists refuse to make this decision, and instead develop a sort of double practice, exploring both fields, people like Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) or Brian DeGraw (Gang Gang Dance)… Musique Plastique is a series of concerts/performances/workshops/ conferences, as well as a catalogue and a compilation.
Until 2 Apr. Tue-Sat, noon-7pm.
Galerie du Jour agnès b, 44 rue Quincampoix, 4th. M° Rambuteau. 01.44.54.55.90. www.galeriedujour.com/
