Record Store Day 2012

In > art culture design, > party

Coming up later this month is the 2nd French edition of Record Store Day, or Disquaire Day. The concept was born in the States back in 2007 with the objective of supporting the indie music scene via the community platform that is the record store. On the day, labels and artists present concerts, new discs, rare version or reeditions in the city’s network of stores (find the list of participating stores here). Sponsor Fred Perry is also organising a free, closing concert (pick up your invitation at one of the participating record shops from 11 April) at the Gaité Lyrique with the Hushpuppies, Jil is Lucky, Krazy Baldhead and Claire Denamur.
Sat 21 April.
