Silencio opening soon

The excitement keeps building around the new hybrid nightlife ‘concept’, art directed by David Lynch, opening soon in Paris. Closer to East London spots Shoreditch House or The Hospital, Silencio is a private members club which aims to bring together the city’s international creative community. Targeting a diverse crowd, with an average age of, say, 35 rather than 25, Club Silencio will be a sophisticated spot to let it all hang out. Located underneath the Social Club, one of the city’s best electro spots, but with its own entrance and programme, Silencio features, over 7002m, a stage, dancefloor, lounge, library, and screening room. David Lynch’s fit-out does not feature any red velvet, but has rather a black and gold colour theme, with gold leaf, wooden and brass features and furniture designed by Lynch. The intimate club will open with some private parties during next Fashion Week (27 Sep-5 Oct), and then with a bang in October with a ‘carte blanche’ to David Lynch himself. Gogo visited the space today, but as it is still under renovation, no pictures were allowed… You’ll have to take our word for it, it’s going to be a unique space in Paris, a parallel universe, with its own special spatio-temporal reality.
