The 6th edition of super blogger Diane Pernet’s annual fashion film fest takes place this weekend at the Centre Pompidou. Besides the screening of the shorts in competition, there will be feature-length films, super-shorts and documentaries that delve into arresting themes of style, fashion and beauty. Expect a tribute to Larry Clark, a Q+A by Michele Lamy from Rick Owens, as well as films from trailblazing international film legends including Serge Lutens, Bettina Rheims & Bruce Weber. Designer Christophe Lemaire will introduce his ‘carte blanche’: Woody Allen’s 1973 homage to Ingmar Bergman Interiors  pits the psychological breakdown of three sisters against the stark, obsessively perfectionist style of their wardrobes and surroundings. Karl Lagerfeld stars in Malcolm Venville’s microscopic but hugely telling film for Nowness Zillions, which sees the director take an epic pilgrimage to pose just one question to Kaiser Karl… There’s also a roster of live entertainment including underground sensation Juriji Der Klee, Canadian indie rock violinist Sarah Neufeld from Arcade Fire and the exotic retro-futuristic sounds of Anglo-French duo Tomorrow’s World. Check the complete program here.
