The city’s most elegant and fashion-forward department store Bon Marché Rive Gauche has just kicked off celebrations for their 160th anniversary. Left Bank icon Catherine Deneuve is the store’s muse and mascot for the duration, and documentary maker à la mode Loïc Prigent was commissioned to make a film “Catherine Deneuve Rive Gauche,” currently screeening in a pop-up theatre on the ground floor of the department store. Deneuve takes us on a visit to her favourite spots on the Left Bank, from the glasshouse in the Jardin des Plantes, to the Saint-Sulpice square, or the Esplanade des Invalides… Here’s a teaser.
Until 27 Oct.
