'Chloé. Attitudes' at the Palais de Tokyo

In > art culture design, > shopping

Inaugurating a new cycle of exhibitions “Fashion Program” at the Palais de Tokyo is this celebration of Chloé’s 60-year contribution to fashion culture. Featuring signature pieces from each of Chloé’s nine key designers – from the maison’s progressive founder Gaby Aghion, through Gérard Pipart, Maxime de La Falaise, Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon, to its present creative director Clare Waight Keller – the show takes a thematic path through the best of Chloé’s creativity, pausing at key moments within its history. Iconic looks are presented alongside lesser-known designs, many on display to the public for the very first time. And never-before-published drawings and iconic fashion photography from the likes of Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin, Jeanloup Sieff, David Bailey and Deborah Turbeville offer additional contexts for the clothing.
Until 18 Nov. Tue-Sun, noon-midnight.
Palais de Tokyo, 13 av du Président Wilson, 16th. M° Iéna. 01.47.23.38.86. www.palaisdetokyo.com/
