CLAMATO

 In > eat & coffee

After opening a wine bar/ shop at the start of the year, Bertrand Grébaut chef-owner of Septime – one of the city’s most loved dining addresses – has just opened a new and third space, dedicated to fish and seafood. Right next door to Septime, and taking no reservations!, the chic but casual spot serves up a daily-changing menu of tasty small plates to share, covering ‘raw’ – oysters (18€), céviché, sea urchins, veal tartare (12€) etc – ‘cold’ – red cabbage, cashew & salicornia (6€) –  or ‘hot’ dishes – scallops, cod (13€). The wine list is mainly natural, and mainly French, but there’s also beer, wine and cider, plus a gin (monkey) and tonic with cucumber and rosemary, or mezcal, straight up (bloody marys are coming soon, apparently).
7-11.30pm; Sat, Sun noon-11.30pm. Closed Mon, Tue.
80 rue de Charonne, 11th. +33 (0)1 43 72 74 53
