CUISSE DE GRENOUILLE
New French ‘urban surfer’ brand Cuisse de Grenouille has just opened its first flagship in the upper Marais, next door to Acne. It was founded two years ago by two globe-trotting Parisians, Lucas and Séverin, who find inspiration in a fusion of 1950s California style and refined, modern Parisian flair – giving rise to their slogan: ‘For the Gentleman Surfer’. They began with an e-shop selling swimwear but today the store – with its Scandinavian-meets-SoCal interiors – also showcases the brand’s house line of men’s casual clothing. Each shirt, tie and pair of trousers in the house line is proudly made in Italy, Spain, or Portugal, and costs between 50€ and 150€. The store also stocks unique accessories, homewares, and skincare products by international brands such as Vans, Rains Denmark, Chanael K and Baxter of California.
