La Botte Gardiane

The old Lazy Dog bookshop on Rue Charonne now houses the first and only store of this French family owned shoe brand La Botte Gardiane. ‘Gardians’ and ‘Gardiannes’ ride the white horses of the Camargue, horses that have lived in the region since at least Paleolithic times. La Botte Gardiane is the last surviving boot maker for the riders, and wears the label of a “Living Heritage Enterprise”, a sign of excellence for their traditional and industrial expertise. Using mostly French leathers, La Botte Gardiane boots and sandals are all hand made in their workshop in Villetelle. Their designs have already been picked up by some of the cooler multi-brands in Paris like Centre Commercial or Royal Cheese. Here you can browse their entire collection, and even order your custom pair choosing your leather and sole.
11am-8pm. Closed Sun.
