Our friends Le Fooding are back with Les Veillées Foodstock, another round of acoustic gigs accompanied by fine food and cocktails for 500 lucky punters. This season it’s all happening in the gardens of suburban art centre the MAC/VAL (currently showing Idéo by Eric Duckyaerts). The musical program features: Sat 23 April Fredrika Stahl, Zach Miskin & Alister; Sat 7 May Brigitte, Black Minou & Benjamin Biolay; Sat 21 May Nach (Anna Chedid) & Camelia Jordana, and Gregory Marchand from top Paris restaurant Frenchie has invented the official cocktail ‘James on the Carrots’, a citrussy mix of carrot, orange peel, lemon and whisky. Tickets go on sale (50% of the proceeds are donated to the orphanage Enfants du Congo Béthanie) the Wednesday preceding the concert, on Le Fooding’s website.
