Kristen Frederick of pioneering Parisian food truck Le Camion qui Fume fame has just set up this gourmet sandwich bar off Oberkampf. Pick up the ‘Goodman,’ crammed with house-made pastrami, pickles and mustard (11€), or the ‘Titz Reuben Wich,’ filled with pastrami, cheese, sauerkraut, and 1,000 island sauce, then wash it down with a Brooklyn Lager (6€). But it’s not called a deli for nothing; soon you’ll be able to buy the house pastrami and other delicacies to go. The space has a quiet terrace out front under the trees, perfect for calming the rowdy Oberkampf hordes, or as a setting for the beautiful people popping in from new next-door rooftop hotspot Le Perchoir.
