Fredo Viola for Nissan Cube in Paris

For the European launch of their cult car the CUBE (think the Twingo for Tokyoïtes), Nissan invited American musician and filmmaker Fredo Viola to take care of the ‘sound design’ for the trendy vehicle, creating three great tracks: ‘Adventure Song’, ‘Black Chairs’, and ‘Regretful’ (buy the car to get the tracks, (about 15,000€), or you can drop into Nissan to pick up the download codes). The clip for ‘Adventure Song’ was directed by François Nemeta (former assistant to Michel Gondry) and shot in Paris, but as you’ll see, it’s not the dreamy Haussmann Paris of postcards.
