Gig highlights 8-14 Nov

Last week was somewhat of a belter, but hold on to your horses as November continues with a face-plant of a second week. Whether it’s some good ol’ fashioned rock (The stunning Black Keys or The Walkmen), indie-electro (LCD Soundsystem), radio-friendly college rock (Jimmy Eat World, We are Scientists), folk (Scott Matthews, Jenny Lewis and Jonathan Rice) or plain old god knows what (Bob Log III), there is something for everyone and then some. If your dancing shoes weren’t worn out by Darwin Deez and co, cult-electro duo Ratatat will be all too happy to oblige your boogying needs. And scenesters will almost certainly be waiting in line tomorrow to see KCRW approved New Yorkers Takka Takka.
