GRILLÉ

 In > eat & coffee

Frédéric Peneau, one of the owners of Paris foodie meccas Le Châteaubriand and Le Dauphin, has just set up Grillé, the hottest kebab joint in town, in partnership with the famous Parisian butcher Hugo Desnoyer. So no mysterious and frightening towers of flesh rotating in front of the grill here. They are working exclusively with quality baby veal that they marinate themselves each day, before preparing for the vertical spit. The flatbread is made to order too, and you have a choice of two home-made sauces, a spicy salsa style “green” sauce, and the “white” sauce with horseradish. The kebab will set you back 8.50€. They also serve hot chips (3€). Grillé is planning to enlarge its minimal menu from the Autumn with some entrées and desserts.
12-3pm Mon-Fri.
15 rue Saint-Augustin, 2nd.
