La Chambre aux Oiseaux café on the Canal St Martin

This cool new café on the Canal St Martin opened last week. Serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, plus good coffee, home-made drinks and baked goods (don’t miss the lemon meringue tart), it’s a relaxed and light-filled spot to hang out, and the weekend brunch (18€) is a winner.
