LE DEPANNEUR PIGALLE
The mythic Pigalle den from the 90s Le Dépanneur – with its unique US diner architecture – has just reopened, now with a relaxed Californian beachhouse vibe. The cool interiors were developed by the team that worked on Candelaria and Le Mary Celeste in collaboration with Gilles Tombeur, and the tangy menu is from the dudes at Cantine California. So organic burgers and tacos, but also some of the fantastic salads and ceviche recipes that till now you could only find inside their recipe book. The bar specialises in tequila and there’s 19 different varieties to sample by the shot, glass or bottle. There’s also a fine list of cocktails, and anything else you might care for. Riffing off the grungier Le Mansart, opposite, this not-to-be-missed new hangout provides a perfect setting for your entire summer social calendar. PS Sunday brunch starts soon!
