LE MONT ST MICHEL
On its 100th anniversary, our favourite French knitwear brand LE MONT ST MICHEL has just opened two new stores in Paris, bringing to three their Parisian outposts. So as well as Rue du Jour, there are now spaces in St Germain, on the Rue Mabillon, exclusively dedicated to womenswear; and in the Northern Marais on the Rue Vieille du Temple, a store selling both the men’s and women’s collections has just opened. Both were designed in collaboration with the Hansen Feutry Bihr Studio; spaces that like the collections combine classic with a twist. Store design has a Scandinavian vibe with a touch of the seaside, a nod to Le Mont St Michel’s Brittany heritage, and combines raw wood with marble and brass. PS Their website too has just had an elegant overhaul.
