Ladurée, possibly France’s quaintest patisserie and macaroon maker, has launched a new brand Les Marquis de Ladurée dedicated to the delights of chocolate. With the same 18th-century vibe, but expanding out of Ladurée’s exquisite pastel palette with flashes of bright orange or blue, the brand sells individual chocolates, boxes of same, blocks, and choc rich macaroons, cakes and pastries online, or in the luxe flagship (their only shop in the world) on the Rue de Castiglione (in the old Rodolphe Menudier space btw).
