LO/A LIBRARY OF ARTS

In > art culture design, > shopping

Set up by Maxime Dubois and Jeanne Holsteyn of the Paris creative studio LO/A , this cool new ‘thematic’ bookshop is run like a gallery with a rotating program of curated selections. The inaugural show German Kultur runs through to the end of the month with a selection of books from and about Germany and particularly Berlin, plus vintage vinyl, DVDs and fanzines. Part gallery, part space for artistic experimentation, creation, and collaboration, the shop space functions as inspiration for the creative studio, set up at the back of the shop. It’s all about the book as an objet d’art, source of knowledge, and space for exchange. As well as the books and mags, there’s a corner dedicated to music, high-end stationary and other distinct, innovative objects from around the world.
