A new member of the luxe Parisian trunk making circle, this discreet new brand recently opened their first and only store on the Rue St Honoré, just down the road from Goyard, and a bit further on from Hermès. It’s Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, who’s responsible for resuscitating the company, which dates back to 1849 but has been out of action since the mid 70s. Creative director Ramesh Nair – ex Hermès, Christian Lacroix, and Yohji Yamamoto – is producing hyper classic, sober and fairly androgynous bag designs, as well as small leather goods and silk scarves. Ranging in price from 1,000€ to more than 10,000€, they are all of course exquisitely Made in France for today’s jetsetters.
