Hitting screens tomorrow, the biopic My Week with Marilyn, based on Colin Clark’s memoir  ‘The Prince, the Showgirl and Me’. The film focuses on the week Clark spent in 1956 escorting Marilyn Monroe around Britain during the production of the classic comedy romance ‘The Prince & the Showgirl’. Monroe had just married playwright Arthur Miller (Dougray Scott), and the newlyweds were on their honeymoon as production got underway. Later, after Miller leaves, young Clark seizes the opportunity to befriend the blonde beauty, and give her a taste of everyday life in England – far from the bright lights of Hollywood. Star Michelle Williams won Best Actress at the Golden Globes this year, and was also nominated for an Academy Award for her performance. (AP)
