PARIS PLAGES 2013

 In > art culture design

The 2013 edition of Paris Plages kicks off tomorrow. For one month, the Right Bank of the Seine – from Le Virage de Sully to Pont des Tuileries – as well as the two banks of the Bassin de la Villette, and the square in front of Hôtel de Ville, are transformed into urban beaches offering an array of free activities and entertainment including tai-chi lessons, ballroom dancing, water sports, a Flammarion library, boules pitches and, of course, the beach itself.  Food and drink stalls and ice-cream stands will keep you refreshed.
Until 18 Aug. 9am-midnight. quefaire.paris.fr/parisplages
