Magnum Photos returns with the second edition of their festival Magnum Days, a full week of photographic events in the heart of Montmartre:
–Magnum Films Revisited, a movie night showing rediscovered Magnum Films of the 1960s, followed by a panel discussion with Susan Meiselas and Marco Bischof. Fri 24 June, 4-9pm, Le Bal. rsvp to contact@le-bal.fr
–Masterclasses. Students will participate in an intimate 3 days shooting masterclass with their choice of one Magnum Photographers: Antoine d’Agata, Chien-Chi Chang, Bruce Gilden and Eli Reed. Mon 20-Wed 22 June, 9am-6.30pm. Lycée Auguste Renoir, 21-24 rue Ganneron, 18th.
–Portfolio reviews. Magnum Days’ portfolio review will provide keen amateurs and emerging professionals wishing to take the next logical step in their careers with an honest evaluation and critical analysis of their photographic work. Tue 21-Wed 22 June, 2-6pm. Lycée Auguste Renoir, 21-24 rue Ganneron, 18th. (60€ for 1 x 20-min session with 1 photographer, 150€ for 3 sessions with 3 photographers).
–Be Photographed by Martin Parr. Come with your fetish, your pet or partner and enter in the ParrWorld for an unforgettable unique event. In an intimate studio converted at the Magnum Photos agency in Paris during one unique afternoon, the public will be able to come back with an exclusive portrait made by Martin Parr.(250€ for a signed A4 signed Portrait, 400€ for A3).
