PHOTO: Mitch Epstein at the Fondation Cartier-Bresson

The major American documentary photographer Mitch Epstein presents the third part in his ‘American trilogy’, American Power (2003-2009) at the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson. The series examines how energy is produced and used in the American landscape. Made on forays to energy production sites and their environs, the pictures question the power of nature, government, corporations, and mass consumption in the United States.
