 In > art culture design

The first solo show in France from major interactive multimedia artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmers opened at the Gaïté Lyrique last week. This Montreal based Mexican artist is known for his spectacular, participative public installations, melding architecture, performance art and sound. This exhibition ‘Trackers’ uses technology typically associated with surveillance  – infrared cameras, recording systems, powerful projectors, radio scanners –  to get the audience up and dancing. Check out an interview with the artist here by artnet.
Until 13 Nov. 2-8pm. Closed Mon.
