RAIN DOGS REVISITED

 In > party

Tickets remain for this concert/ homage to Tom Waits’ 1985 album Rain Dogs. A hefty co-production between Les Nuits de Fourvière, Montreux Jazz Festival, London’s Barbican Centre and the Salle Pleyel, the show brings together a stellar cast of singers and musicians –  Arthur H, The Tiger Lillies, Stef Kamil Carlens, Camille O’Sullivan, St Vincent, Erika Stucky, and Jane Birkin – to revisit the legendary album. In a very personal evocation of the New York slums, the album’s nineteen tracks impress with their variety, borrowing from cabaret, polka, jazz, rock and even spoken poetry. The concert will go back through the album – integrally, though quite freely.
Tue 22 Nov, 8pm. 45€/ 30€.
