RED BALL PROJECT PARIS

 In > art culture design

The RedBall Project by New York artist Kurt Perschke continues its world tour in Paris this week. The anything but subtle guest (it’s a giant red inflatable ball!) is “a catalyst for new encounters within the everyday” and comes to Paris in part to celebrate Martini’s 150th anniversary. You may already have seen it at the Café Beaubourg, the Hotel de Ville, the Canal St Martin or on a bateau-mouche cruising down the Seine. Keep your eye on this map to track down its next stop. Squeezed into corners or wedged between a bridge, the artist encourages public interaction and takes suggestions for where it should go next. (PS Today you can even meet the artist at Colette, 5-6.30pm.)
Until Sun 28 Apr.
