Roots + Douglas Coupland

 In > shopping

The Canadian expats amongst you surely know of leather goods company Roots. The friendly, green, and generally affordable brand has just paired up with Vancouver writer Douglas Coupland – best known for his cult, generation defining novel ‘Generation X’. Coupland has designed his own line of bags, t-shirts, that aims to explore with a dash of humor as well as national pride, what Canadian identity means today. ‘It all stems from our love and appreciation of Canada. We have always liked exploring new ways to express a sense of place and paying tribute to this country’ says Roots founder Don Green about the collaboration. The ‘retro-future’ line, complete with t-shirts, bags, and more will be on sale at Colette, bien sûr, from next Tue 7 Sep.
