Sam Haskins at OFR
Ofr are hosting an intimate show over summer of renowned photographer Sam Haskin’s work, who is best known for liberating nude photography from its cliches. This is the first retrospective of Sam’s legendary calendar photography, produced primarily for Pentax from 1971 to 2000. An archive of mint condition vintage calendars in their original packaging will be on sale at the exhibition, along with signed and unsigned prints from Sam’s recently published book ‘Fashion Etcetera’ and from his legendary books from the 60s, ‘Five Girls’, ‘Cowboy Kate’, ‘November Girl’, ‘African Image’ and ‘The American Landscape Series’, including two very rare signed vintage prints (with a handful of exceptions, Sam’s vintage archive was unsigned).
