Sempé at the Hôtel de Ville

 In > art culture design

The famous French cartoonist, whose work has graced the covers of over 70 editions of The New Yorker magazine, is starring in a new exhibition at the Hôtel de Ville. After a show there back in 2009 focusing on his famous character Le Petit Nicolas, this new show ‘Un peu de Paris et ailleurs’ focuses on Sempé’s love for his adopted city. Over 300 original drawings, many never seen before, present a gentle, sentimental vision of little people lost in a big, big world.
Until 11 Feb. 10am-7pm. Closed Sun. Free entry.
Hôtel de Ville de Paris, 5 rue de Lobau, 4th.
