Thaddaeus Ropac Pantin Paris

 In > art culture design

On Sun 14 Oct, the gallerist Thaddaeus Ropac will open to the public a massive new space in Pantin on the outskirts of Paris with headlining shows from Joseph Beuys & Anselm Kiefer. Formerly a 19th century ironware factory, this monumental satellite is designed to host large-scale sculptures, paintings, performance and installations.“We created this new space which will give the artists the opportunity to realize their vision without the usual restrictions of space.” (Thaddaeus Ropac) The project also includes a multimedia space for performance, dance, lectures, conferences, screenings and other activities that complement exhibitions and attract a wider audience. Here’s some first images.
