'The Beaver' by Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster’s 3rd film as director ‘The Beaver’ (‘Le Complexe du Castor’) was presented out of competition at Cannes last week and hits screens nationally tomorrow. It stars Mel Gibson as a ‘hopelessly depressed individual’ who returns to life and love via the therapeutic power of a hand puppet; to judge by the mixed reviews the film’s received so far, you’ll either love it or hate it.
