The Campana Brothers at Les Arts Décoratifs

 In > art culture design

With this evocatively titled exhibition “Barroco Rococó,” the Arts Décoratifs gives carte blanche to inspired Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana, famous for their iconoclastic and exuberant design using found objects and drawn from Brazilian street life and carnival culture. These new works, produced last year for Rome’s Galleria O, take a new direction with a series of opulent pieces exploiting traditional Italian craft techniques. And in parallel to this show, the Left Bank’s Hôtel Lutetia has inaugurated a new suite decorated by the duo, “Fernando & Humberto,” featuring a custom carpet and bed head.
