THE CENTRE POMPIDOU’S 'NEW FESTIVAL'
A new festival, showcasing contemporary creation in all its shape and colour, with an array of daily events including exhibitions, performances, conferences, screenings, tableaux, and concerts. A non-stop research lab into today’s creation, the festival will be attempting to reinvent the Centre Pompidou’s cross-disciplinary identity, and aims to spur contemporary creators into reshuffling the arts. Participating artists include Carsten Holler, Andrea Blum, Jorge Pardo, Elmgreen & Dragset, Tobias Rehberger, Franz West and Zlatan Vulkosavljevic, Philippe Katerine and Cocktail Designers. The festival is taking place in the Galerie Sud, the foyer, the Espace 315, and even the Mezzanine Café of the Centre Pompidou, with many free events. The performing arts program is particularly exciting. Find the daily program here. Until 23 Nov.
