Thomas Erber's 'Cabinet de Curosités' at Browns, London

 In > shopping

After a Christmas pop-up shop at Colette last year, Paris-based Thomas Erber brings his Cabinet of Curiosités to London’s best equivalent, Browns. Mixing together the worlds of fashion, art, designer and travel, Erber has chosen 30 internationally renowned artist and designers to fill his ‘cabinet’ with the rarest and most unique objects d’art ever commissioned. Fascinated by the concept of a “room of curiosities” for many years, Erber has revived this Victorian fascination for the 21st century. Encouraging true craftsmanship, each distinguished Cabinet contributor has created a unique one-off or bespoke piece: Rodarte have created a customised cover for their eponymous book (250£); A bespoke coat from Melinda Gloss (1,750£); Mink lined Pierre Hardy boots (1,650£); an exclusive short story by James Frey (6,500£)… Browse the complete collection here, and get yourself some “authentic luxury” this Christmas!
Until 23 Dec.
Browns, 24-27 Sth Molton Street, W1K.
