Venet at Versailles
A new milestone in the saga of Jean-Jacques Aillagon’s polemical contemporary art programme at Versailles. After blockbuster exhibitions by international contemporary art stars Jeff Koons then Takashi Murakami, the palace presents an exhibition by New-York based French sculptor Bernard Venet. His minimal, monumental Cor-ten steel sculptures balance delicately in the gardens of the palace and the Marly Estate, highlighting the symmetry of the landscape and architecture.
Until 1 Nov.
