DESIGN: Robert Stadler at the Galerie des Multiples

Paris-based designer and interior decorator Robert Stadler presents new works for this, his second solo show. ‘Ardoises’ are a minimal constellation of geometric fragments of slate, on the frontier of art and design. They recall his earlier work ‘Pools & pouf !’, which presented very aesthetic fragments of a Chesterfield lounge. He also presents a new version of his contemporary oracle ‘Carole’, a mirror which displays random LED messages across its surface, in response to the spectator’s explicit or secret questions. Other Stadler news is the recent opening of Corso 3 in Bastille (3 place de la Bastille), the 3rd satellite of the mini Costes chain decorated by Stadler.
