Julian Schnabel Polaroids at Magda Danysz

Via parallel shows in Paris & Shanghai, Magda Danysz presents Julian Schnabel’s photographic experiments, curated in collaboration with Petra Giloy Hirtz, the author of Julian Schnabel. Polaroids (Prestel Publishing). The ‘enfant terrible’ of 1980s neo-expressionism, Schnabel has since expanded into Cannes prize-winning filmmaking (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly…). He we get to see, in the shadow of Andy Warhol, his Polaroids of famous friends and a VIP lifestyle. (Opening this Saturday, 6-9pm.)
