MAISON MICHEL POP-UP

 In > shopping

The fashionable French milliner Maison Michel has just opened this pop-up on Rue Cambon, practically next door to the Chanel flagship, making for their first own-name sales outlet. The brand was founded in 1936 and has been owned by Chanel since 1996; new AD Laetitia Crahay, accessories designer at Chanel, has been doing great things transforming the historic brand into a hot Made in France accessories label with a host of celeb fans including Rihanna or Lady Gaga. In a bid to preserve traditional craftsmanship, Chanel has been buying up a string of specialised workshops in France including Lesage, Massaro, Lemarié and Desrues. This pop-up will be open at least until the end of March 2014, with a permanent boutique to follow soon we hope.
11am-7pm. Closed Sun, Mon.
