Burberry opened a Paris flagship in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Pres last month. The 2-floor, 300-square-meter space holds all of the brand’s main lines, including Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London and Burberry Brit, with both mens’ and womens’ ready-to-wear collections. Bags, shoes, jewellery, sunglasses, watches and perfumes are also for sale. The store’s concept was developed by the brand’s creative director, Christopher Bailey, who chose to honour Burberry’s traditional British flair with a classic fit-out featuring the brand’s signature plaid. Burberry Prorsum was in the news last week too (23 Feb), when it closed London Fashion Week with a live streaming of its Winter 2010/11 show in 3-D from London to guests in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Dubai (see video below).
