The curiosity inspired by the name of this moody new cocktail and whiskey bar carries through to the intriguingly named and rather excellent cocktail list. You can’t go past ‘Granny’s Old Pipe,’ (13€) a tangy, smoky concoction featuring Lapsang Souchong tea. Substantial snacks from burrata tartine (12€) to charcuterie platters (6-8€) are there to soak up the drinks and you could easily while away several hours in the dimly lit, loungey ambiance. Open until 2am 7 nights a week, this is a perfect late-night stop-off on the Marais/ Bastille divide.
