Svenskt Tenn at the Swedish Institute

 In > art culture design

Currently showing at the charming Swedish Institute in the Marais is this exhibition dedicated to iconic Swedish brand Svenskt Tenn. This interior design shop located on Strandvägen in Stockholm was founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson, who recruited Josef Frank to the company 10 years later. Together they created the elegant and boldly patterned personal interior design style that continues today. The exhibition presents their cult textiles, but also furniture and recent collaborations with young designers. PS Make sure you take time for lunch or tea and cake in the institute’s garden café too!
Until 23 Oct. Noon-6pm. Closed Sun. Free entry.
