The Pompidou Centre still on strike

 In > art culture design

The Centre Pompidou continues its strike, which began on Mon 23 November, to protest against a new policy of reducing personnel by replacing only 1 employee out of 2 who leaves for retirement, and thus reducing the number of positions in the museum, by 26 in 2010 then 23 in 2011. There’s also discontent in regards to the budget allocated to the museum, which has remained stable at 77 million euros since 2003.
