THEATRE: Forced Entertainment
After the minimalist formats of Spectacular and Void Story, the avant-garde British theatre company Forced Entertainment returns to the Pompidou stage with The Thrill of It All a group enterprise combining wild energy, joyful chaos, uninhibited singing and dancing in this new creation for nine interpreters. From agony aunt advice in bird-like curves, to exuberant dances in distorted bursts, the discourse breaks apart in order to reassemble in a joyful yet ironic ‘musical comedy’ as exciting as it is unnerving.
