Villette Sonique 2012

Opening in a week from today is La Villette’s annual experimental music fest Villette Sonique. The free, weekend, outdoor program features the likes of Germany’s “intelligent dance music” pioneers Mouse on Mars (Sat 26) or on Sunday, 90s grunge icons Mudhoney (4.30pm). Plus there’s excellent paying gigs each evening at La Villette venues La Trabendo and La Grande Halle. The Red Bull Music Academy is taking over the Cabaret Sauvage with a mix of free and paying gigs covering hip-hop (DJ Rashad & DJ Spinn) and electro (I Cube)… Check the complete program here.
