Wanderlust now open
The first of two resident clubs within new fashion and design hub Docks en Seine officially opened last night with the first weekly Eté d’Amour party of the season. The club benefits from a giant terrace (apparently the city’s biggest at 1,600m2!), with great views over the Seine and the city, plus there’s an indoor bar area and restaurant, headed by chef Benjamin Darnaud. Sporting a logo and identity by US alternative cartoonist Daniel Clowes, Wanderlust has an eclectic program, going from an electro roller skating party with Brain mag tonight, to yoga on Sunday mornings, film screenings (Barbra Streisand’s ‘The Mirror Has Two Faces’, Fri 8, 6.30pm/8.30pm) and everything in between. Jakob+McFarlane, the architects responsible for the building, have been commissioned to design a special “structure” for the terrace which should be ready in July. (The other club, from Le Baron crew and on the rooftop, is coming soon too…)
Wed-Sat, 6pm-6am, Sun, 11am-2am.
