Artus de Lavilléon at Galerie Patricia Dorfmann

A ‘retrospective’ of recent work by local artist Artus de Lavilléon opened on Saturday. Rétrospective II / LIEUX COMMUNS regroups works the artist has exhbited in various ‘lieux communs’ over the last few years, principally different shops, so not places dedicated to art, as he tried to get some distance from the commercialisation, and the commercial success of his work, and wrestle with the ethical and intellectual implications of his art.
